What it enables

Spaces is the live inventory of work in Dure. It brings agents and terminals from different projects, folders, desktops, and SSH hosts into one searchable view with activity and diff signals. Desktops organize a phase or context. Panes are the live tools inside them: agents, terminals, files, editors, and review views. Moving a pane changes its presentation, not the session that owns its process.

Try it

  1. Create desktops named Launch, Review, and Operate.
  2. Split a desktop and open two agent panes.
  3. Drag one pane to another desktop.
  4. Search for the agent in Spaces and open it again.
The same live session follows the pane. You can also pop a pane into a lightweight window and return it to its saved location later.

Current boundary

Spaces can show local and SSH work together, but the runtime guarantees behind them are not identical yet. Read Remote and SSH before assuming that an SSH provider survives a dropped connection like a managed local Hmux session. Next, read Sessions, worktrees, and recovery.
