Dure’s public beta is available for macOS on Apple silicon. Bring an installed coding-agent CLI and its provider account; Dure does not include a model subscription.

Install the Mac app

  1. Download the latest Dure for macOS.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Dure into Applications.
  3. Open Dure from Applications.

Prepare one coding agent

Install and sign in to the agent you want to use. Check that its command starts in your regular terminal, for example claude, codex or kimi. In Dure, Settings → Agent CLI shows detected tools and available setup actions. Provider subscriptions, model access and usage charges remain separate from Dure. Update an existing installation

Open Settings → General to see the installed version and choose Check for updates. When a newer beta is available, review the notice and choose its download and installation actions. Checking alone does not install an update or restart the app. Older betas without this update flow need one manual replacement: download the current DMG, quit the old app and replace Dure in Applications. Then reopen it. Review unfinished work and session state before an update; recovery is different from continuing the same running process.
Confirm that the file came from the official download link above. If the warning reports a damaged app, download a fresh copy and compare the release information. Follow Apple’s guidance for the specific warning. Do not disable macOS security protections or force open a file reported as malware.
